The Green Industrial Facilities and Manufacturing Program (GIFMP) helps Canadian industrial facilities of all sizes implement energy efficiency and energy management solutions that reduce emissions, improve performance and boost competitiveness. The organization’s Industrial Facility Track is back for Round 3, and is now accepting applications for a wide range of projects.
If successful, you could receive up to 50% of eligible costs – or up to 100% for Indigenous or not-for-profit organizations – ranging from $40,000 to $5 million per project.
Eligibility
Eligible projects include retrofits, audits, energy manager hiring and workforce training.
Projects must aim to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency in facilities that transform materials into new products.
Capital investments are required to use non-emitting energy sources. They must also incorporate a recognized energy management system or prove that one is already in place.
Application period
Applications open Thursday, August 14, 2025, and close Friday, September 26, 2025, at 8:00 pm EST.
