Charles Barnes D.B.A.

Biography

Charles Barnes joined the firm in 2018 when Ian Whitton’s firm merged with the Baker Tilly team, Charles had been with Ian’s firm since 2008.

He graduated from Northern College with an Honours Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting in 2005.

In his role of manager with the firm, Charles provides extensive expertise in personal tax, accounting, and bookkeeping.

Charles’ experience in personal and corporate tax planning is a valuable resource to his clients.

Charles is currently the treasurer of All Saints’ Anglican Church in Collingwood and a member of Manito 90 Masonic Lodge in Collingwood.

In the past he has served the Clearview Soccer Club as the treasurer.

Outside of work you can find Charles enjoying the outdoors with a fishing pole in the summer months and attending one of our many rinks in the winter months as his children enjoy hockey and figure skating.
