Our firm, our staff and our families are fully committed to physical distancing, but we also want to remain social with our clients, co-workers and friends. This message is a follow-up to our original message; we would like clients to be aware that effective Monday, March 23, the office will be closed.
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our communities. To participate in this global effort to flatten the curve, effective this Monday, we have two significant changes being implemented regarding meetings and paper-flow.
If you have booked an appointment with our office, please reach out to your main contact first before the meeting to ensure the in-person meeting is necessary at this time given the recently announced filing extensions.
We recognize that some information will still need to be dropped off. The office continues to be open to staff and we will accept information in a drop box on the first floor of our building. It is right next to the front door entrance and will have our Baker Tilly name as an identifier. Any information received will be set aside for two days for quarantine purposes and will then be reviewed and distributed to the appropriate people. This drop box is checked hourly. Any larger boxes of information can be dropped off outside the office door on the second floor.
In an effort to practice social distancing, we will make every effort to replace all face-to-face meeting with a virtual approach: video conferencing, phone calls, Teams meetings or whatever technology suits you best.
We will continue to work closely with you to meet all deadlines as usual. We are as social as always and look forward to continued commitment to meeting your professional service needs.
