Biography

Scott has over 25 years of practical experience providing a full range of tax services to both public and private corporations. Scott has provided tax advisory services spanning many industries including manufacturing, consumer business, high tech and real estate companies. 

Known for his entrepreneurial drive and results-oriented approach, Scott is an accomplished local, national, and international leader. Since 2016, he has served as the managing partner of Baker Tilly Windsor, leading the firm through an unprecedented period of strategic growth, and furthering its mission to be home to the region’s top business advisors. 

Scott has attended and tutored the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth income tax courses and has also presented income tax seminars to a variety of clients and industry groups. Scott graduated from the University of Windsor and earned his CA designation in 1995. He joined Baker Tilly Windsor as a tax partner in 2012 after spending ten years leading the Windsor office of a national accounting firm. 

At the national level, Scott took the reins of the Baker Tilly Canada Board of Directors from 2022 until 2024. He drove the Canadian network forward, building on its new era of evolution and enhanced service delivery. Today, he also serves as an International Board member with Baker Tilly Global.
