Vancouver, B.C. – Baker Tilly WM is excited to announce four accomplished members of the firm have been promoted to partner. In the Toronto office, An Lam has become partner of professional standards, Audit & Accounting, and Sam Wong has been promoted to partner, Audit & Accounting. Meanwhile, in the firm’s Vancouver office, both Aycha Aziz and Scott Holst have also been promoted to partner.

Aziz and Holst have been with the firm for many years, supporting the financial and business needs of a wide range of clients. While Holst is most experienced in audit, assurance and tax, Aziz specializes in providing services to publicly listed entities, also assisting private entities through the process of undergoing an IPO.

“During their time at Baker Tilly, Aycha and Scott have developed varied and in-depth industry experience,” says managing partner Paul Websdale. “In their new roles, they bring fresh, innovative perspectives to our leadership team, benefiting the firm and our clients. With more than 20 years of experience in public practice, An Lam specializes in the application of IFRS, ASPE and US GAAP requirements to public and private Canadian companies. Experienced with both private and public clients, Sam Wong has distinguished himself providing accounting, assurance and tax services.
