Biography

Tom graduated from Queen's University with his Bachelor of Commerce, specialization in Accounting, in 2005. Following his graduation from Queen's University, Tom furthered his education and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2008. Tom became a Partner of the firm on January 1, 2018.

Tom joined Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP in 2011, following several years at a big-four accounting firm. Tom completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course I in 2008, Tax Course II in 2009, and Tax Course III (Reorganization) in 2013. A well-rounded public accounting professional, Tom specializes in transaction services, succession planning, corporate reorganizations, and identifying and quantifying claims eligible for Scientific Research and Experimental Development Investment Tax Credits.
