Rosa Maria Iuliano FCPA FCA

Biography

Rosa Maria is a Partner in the Taxation Services Department at Baker Tilly Ottawa, where she has led client advisory and tax planning initiatives since 2008. A Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA) with more than 25 years of experience, Rosa provides strategic tax, financial, and succession planning advice to owner-managed businesses, partnerships, not-for-profit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals.

Rosa earned her Master of Accountancy from University of Waterloo in 1998, obtained her CA designation in 2000, and was awarded her Fellowship designation in 2020. She has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course, GST In-Residence Course, and Corporate Reorganization and International Taxation Course.

Rosa’s expertise includes income and commodity tax, estate and succession planning, SR&ED incentives, and wealth management, advising clients across industries such as manufacturing, construction, real estate, technology, healthcare, professional services, and the charitable sector.

An accomplished speaker and advisor, Rosa is a frequent speaker at the annual Not-For-Profit Legal, Accounting and Banking update, and a regular contributor to publications on tax and financial planning topics. She is the recipient of several honours, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario’s Award of Distinction, the Ottawa Business Journal Top Forty Under 40 Award, and the Women’s Business Network Businesswoman of the Year Award.

Outside of work, Rosa loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and friends, embracing her Italian heritage by hosting gatherings and sharing traditional homemade meals and baking.
