Biography

Michael graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce, specialization in Accounting. Following graduation from Carleton University, he furthered his professional qualifications and obtained this Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation. Michael completed the three year CPA In-Depth Tax Course in 2016.

Michael joined Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP in 2015, following several years in both the tax and assurance practices at a big-four accounting firm. He practices in the firms Canadian Tax group and specializes in a range of tax services, including personal, corporate, and partnership compliance, corporate reorganizations and other tax advisory services. He also has experience dealing with the quantification of Scientific Research and Experimental Development Investment Tax Credits.

Michael became a partner at Baker Tilly Ottawa in January, 2024.
