Kimberly MacDonald Smith CHRL

Kimberly is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 25 years of experience driving talent strategies within professional services, legal, logistics and consulting environments. As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), she brings a strong track record of fostering inclusive, high-performing cultures that align people strategy with business objectives. 

Before joining Baker Tilly KDN, Kimberly held progressive leadership roles at Deloitte and McMillan LLP, where she partnered closely with executive teams to drive workforce planning, lead change management initiatives, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has led national performance management and compensation processes, developed leadership pipelines, and introduced employee well-being programs that enhanced engagement and retention.

Kimberly holds degrees in Psychology and Social Science from the University of Ottawa and a Human Resources Management Certificate from Humber College. She is known for her authentic, collaborative leadership style and ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.   

Based in Aurora, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her active family and is proud support crew to their many pursuits - alongside their spirited Havanese.
