Kevin Tippett CPA (Colorado)

Biography

Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Kevin is a proud Maritimer and a graduate of Mount Allison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting. He obtained his U.S. CPA designation in 2009 and brings more than 20 years of experience in personal cross-border tax, specializing in Canadian and U.S. taxation.

After moving from Moncton to Ottawa, Kevin began his career at a Big Four accounting firm, where he spent eight years building expertise in cross-border tax matters, with a particular focus on advising employees on temporary assignments between Canada and the United States. Appointed Partner in 2025, Kevin helps oversee the firm’s cross-border tax practice, specializing in personal cross-border income tax compliance and advisory services.

Outside of the office, Kevin is a proud hockey dad to three boys. He also enjoys competitive curling in the winter and recreational golf in the summer.
