Biography
Joanna joined Baker Tilly CK, LLP in August of 2024. She brought with her over 13 years of Human Resources experience with eight of the years in HR Management. Prior to working in HR, Joanna worked as a manager in the quick service restaurant industry for just over 10 years. She graduated from St. Clair College in 2010 with a 3-year diploma in Business Administration – Human Resource Management and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with High Honours – Majoring in HR Management with Davenport University later in 2010.
Joanna is a seasoned HR Professional who is dedicated to fostering a transformational HR approach and specializes in multi-faceted areas of HR. These areas are inclusive of, but not limited to recruitment, employee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, health and safety, WSIB, safe work instructions, modified work plans, policy development, performance improvement plans, employee growth, training programs, conflict resolutions, and compliances with the multi-legislative due diligence of expectations for both employer and employee.
She has a great admiration for the occupation of health and safety act, continuous learning, strong team building, and most of all about people and organizational success. Joanna is a strategic HR Manager who believes in the power of human capital to drive business excellence.
