Biography

Greg’s practice focuses on Canadian tax planning for owner-managed businesses, estate and succession planning, corporate reorganizations and charities and non-profit organizations. Greg is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a past chair of its Atlantic Branch.

After graduating from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Greg received his CPA designation in 2004. He joined Baker Tilly Nova Scotia’s predecessor firm in 2012 as a senior tax manager and became a partner in 2013. He has completed Part III of the In-Depth Tax Course, CPA Canada Corporate Reorganizations and In-Depth Tax Issues for Owner-Managed Business. Greg is a frequent instructor for CPANS, CPA Canada and the Canadian Tax Foundation and has presented income tax matters to a variety of local and regional business organizations.

In his spare time Greg enjoys volunteering with the Bedford Minor Hockey Association, the Bedford Minor Baseball Association and the Bedford Soccer Association.
