David Chan CPA

Biography

A manager in the Audit department specializing in data analytics, David joined Baker Tilly Montréal’s predecessor firm in 2013. In addition to providing tax services, he is a member of Baker Tilly Montréal’s training team, assisting with firm‑wide professional development with an emphasis on working with new hires.

David holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University where he majored in electrical engineering with a minor in management. It was at McGill where he developed a passion for accounting. David later graduated from Concordia University’s accounting program, obtaining his CPA designation in 2015.

In his free time, David is an espresso aficionado and collects lever espresso machines. He is also a high‑powered, electric scooter enthusiast ⁠–⁠ often getting his adrenaline fix at the local F1 racetrack.
