Darlene Shaw CPA CA

Biography

Darlene joined Baker Tilly in 2013, and became a Partner in 2017. Originally working in industry, she moved to public practice in 2006 where she worked for many years with a national firm providing cross border tax advice to multinational corporations and their executives. She brings over 15 years of experience providing Canadian and U.S. tax and advisory services to both domestic and international clients in a variety of industries. Darlene has broad knowledge of the issues facing Canadian owner-managers, and specialized knowledge of cross-border issues for individuals and corporations.

Darlene is a graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University (2009) and received her CA designation in 2011. She received her U.S. CPA (Illinois) designation in 2016. She has authored several industry publications, and lectures on tax-related topics at both industry and client-related events. Darlene lives in Dartmouth with her family, and volunteers with local youth and community organizations.
