Bud Arnold CPA CA

Biography
Bud received his Bachelor of Mathematics degree in 2010 and his Master of Accounting degree in 2011 from the University of Waterloo. He earned his designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant in early 2013 and completed CPA Canada's In-depth Tax Course in July 2016. After seven years with another national firm, Bud joined Baker Tilly GWD LLP (formerly Collins Barrow) as a tax manager in January 2017 and as a tax partner in September 2019. With a particular focus on farm tax planning, he regularly assists clients across various industries with personal and business tax planning and compliance issues, including corporate restructuring, estate planning, and transitioning businesses to new ownership.
Beyond the office, Bud taught senior tax courses at the University of Guelph as sessional lecturer from 2014-2018. He is also active in his church and community, serving a few local charities. Outside of work, Bud enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
