Your role
- Working closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements.
- Delivering high quality tax planning, services, and advice.
- Leading special tax engagements.
- Providing support, coaching and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters on an ongoing basis.
- Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients.
- Preparing and presenting technical sessions to firm staff.
What you bring to the table
- A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
- Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members.
- High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
- Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement and execute projects.
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
