Your role:

  • Working closely with the Partners and other senior staff to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients
  • Performing and reviewing technical research, developing and documenting tax planning recommendations
  • Reviewing Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Consulting with clients regarding various business and tax planning needs
  • Adding value by identifying client service opportunities, including cross-team collaboration
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff for high performance and professional growth
  • Engaging with all levels of our team while working to bring our strategy to life and participate in firm-wide events that foster our workplace culture 

What you bring to the table:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
  • Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course
  • 7+ years of public accounting experience with experience in a tax specific environment
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware, and TaxPrep considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with others effectively as part of a team
  • Understanding of a client-focused, fast-paced work environment and the ability to effectively pivot between tasks and prioritize deliverables to meet conflicting deadlines
  • Experience working with owner managed businesses considered an asset

We are currently hiring for our offices in Collingwood, Owen Sound and Walkerton, ON.

Job type: 

Permanent, Full-time

Your schedule: 

Monday to Friday

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
