We are looking for a CPA Articling Student to join our team—a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:
As a CPA Articling Student, you will be assigned to a general practice team and be given exposure to all aspects of client service work including assurance, accounting and tax engagements. These teams work with companies in various industries by developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their business opportunities and challenges. Team members work on multiple engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment - not just one part. Working in a mutually respectful team environment helps our teams perform at their best and integrate their career with their personal life.
What you bring to the table:
- The desire to obtain a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in a mid-size public accounting firm;
- Completed a Bachelor's degree program that meets the prerequisites for enrollment in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP);
- Experience with computer software such as; Quickbooks, Caseware, Spreadsheets (Excel) and with Tax Programs (Tax Prep) is an asset.
- Public accounting experience is an asset.
- Good academic standing;
- Great organization and communication skills;
- Ability to excel in high high-pressure working environment;
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities outside of academics; and
- Experience or desire to work in a team-based environment.
Where you’ll work:
We have offices in three Saskatchewan locations and are open to hiring in any of them: Saskatoon or Yorkton or Emerald Park
Job type:
Full-time, permanent, in-office.
Your schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch). Reduced office hours during non-busy season.
