Baker Tilly in Sudbury has an affiliated law firm SNT Law (the “Firm”) that provides clients with expert advice and savvy solutions for corporate and personal matters including acquisitions, dispositions, tax structures, estate planning, and tax compliance. SNT Law serves a variety of clients in the mining, industrial, healthcare, professional services, and non-profit sectors.

Your role:

  • Preparing legal documents and other reports/correspondence in accordance with Firm quality and document standards under the supervision of senior staff or lawyers.
  • Responding to telephone, mail, email and in person requests from lawyers, staff, and clients.
  • Coordinating appointments, meetings, tasks etc. for lawyers.
  • Coordinating timely delivery of client work while managing their own files.
  • Performing annual corporate compliance duties.
  • Drafting various corporate documents related to sales and purchases.
  • Conducting due diligence searches.
  • Experience in real estate is considered a strong asset as some work involves real estate searches and registrations

What you bring to the table:

  • One or more year(s) of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Outlook).
  • Ability to learn new software and utilize technology.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Client-service oriented, including strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage your time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a Law firm is an asset.
  • Experience in real estate law is considered a strong asset as some work involves real estate searches and registration.

Your schedule:

Monday to Friday

Salary range: $55,000-$75,000 per annum.
