We are looking for a Co-op Student to join our IT (Information Technology) team —a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role: 

  • Help Baker Tilly staff daily with any computer or technology related issues.

  • Assist IT Manager with any IT Support tickets that come into ticket system.

  • Office IT support, which may include setting up cubicles/offices/meeting rooms with technology needed (Laptops, Docking Stations, Monitors etc).

  • Creating IT content or simple “How To” videos/wiki articles to help staff or clients with our systems/software.

  • Assist with setting up technology for staff, client events, lunch & learns (prep PC for use, set up mics and more).

What you bring to the table: 

  • Currently working toward a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Active Directory, and Azure.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly discuss technical issues with staff, ask thoughtful questions, document information accurately, and collaborate effectively with IT teams.

  • Demonstrated initiative and interest in technology through academic projects, personal learning, or hands-on technical experience.

  • Nice to have, but not required: Exposure to accounting or audit concepts, Caseware or TaxPrep, and/or basic familiarity with Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks in an IT support context.
