Your role 

  • Financial record-keeping in a cloud-based ecosystem for various clients including processing of payables, receivables and payroll and recording of general journal entries.
  • Completion of bank and other account reconciliations.
  • Preparation of GST and other tax returns.
  • Preparation and generation of periodic client reporting packages.
  • Communication with clients to ensure accurate, timely and complete reporting.
  • Provision of bookkeeping and software support services to clients.
  • Development of documentation of bookkeeping workflows.
  • Training our clients on Cloud accounting software and apps.

What you bring to the table  

  • Diploma or equivalent in accounting, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years full cycle public accounting experience in a cloud ecosystem is preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software including QBO, Xero and various related apps, as well as an interest in technology and innovation.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
