With 15 years of direct experience in achieving business growth and maximizing profitability, Rosa provides tax and financial planning advice to clients in proprietorships, owner-managed corporations and not-for-profit organizations with Collins Barrow Ottawa LLP. Committed to the development of entrepreneurial professionals, Rosa is also a noted key speaker at small business and start up events where she is sought to discuss ways in which a business can identify and seize opportunities to grow.
Through Rosa’s leadership achievements in education, volunteerism and service to her profession and community, she is an honoured recipient of an ICAO Award of Distinction; an award that recognizes CA’s under 40 who have demonstrated excellence in these areas of service. Rosa is also nominated for the 2015 Women’s Business Network Professional Business Woman of the Year Award, a prestigious award recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women in the National Capital Region since 1983.
Rosa is an active member of Leaders in Pearls, St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa Foundation and The Alzheimer Society Walk for Memories. Rosa is actively involved with The Women’s Business Network (WBN) of Ottawa and is also an Ambassador to the CPA Canada Women’s Leadership Council. These organizations are particularly important to Rosa as they connect and inspire businesswomen of integrity and diverse backgrounds and encourage discussions on ways in which women can advance into leadership positions in the accounting profession.
