Waterloo, ON – Baker Tilly Canada is proud to be included on the 2020 Forbes list of Canada’s Best Employers. Through the gathering and analysis of employee perspectives from throughout the country, this list aims to identify the companies doing the most to serve the needs of their employees.
“Baker Tilly Canada’s inclusion on the Forbes list of Canada’s best employers is a great honour that reflects our deep ties to communities throughout the country and the impact of our recent evolution,” says Grant Galbraith, National chair of Baker Tilly Canada. “Just a year ago, we introduced our new name, identity and vision, highlighting our belief in the power of great relationships, great conversations and great futures – for our clients and our people. By incorporating this vision into everything we do, our employees have continued to excel, seizing the rich opportunities and challenges that distinguish the BT Life.”
By surveying thousands of Canadians who work for businesses with a minimum of 500 employees, Forbes identified the companies that are most popular with their employees, ranking the 300 that received the most recommendations. According to Kari Viglasky, Baker Tilly Canada’s National HR Committee chair, Baker Tilly Canada’s inclusion can be traced back to the company’s emphasis on providing a vibrant, fulfilling professional culture.
“We want to ensure our people have the career they want and the life that goes with it,” she explains. “Today’s most competitive, dynamic organizations are attracting and retaining the best talent by providing them opportunities to have meaningful professional experiences, while contributing to something bigger than themselves. We’re proud to provide the resources and a culture where professionals are empowered to influence tomorrow, contribute to their community and exceed their potential. This is more than a job – it’s a life.”
