Altaf has over twenty years of experience in the field of taxation having acted most recently as President with a mid-sized, Canadian commodity tax consultancy firm. Previously, Altaf held senior tax consulting roles with national public accounting firms. His main focus with Collins Barrow will be to provide value added solutions for parties faced with complex indirect tax issues. In this regard, Altaf will offer in-depth analysis and legislative interpretation to clients on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), customs and provincial sales tax issues and also consult on a wide variety of tax strategies and recovery programs.
