Ottawa, ON—Collins Barrow Ottawa celebrates its 20 anniversary as Founding and Lead Sponsor of The Alzheimer Society “Walk for Memories.”
The 2015 walk takes place Sunday, January 25 at the Carleton University Fieldhouse at 8 a.m. The event raises money to fund local programs and services for Canadians living with dementia, specifically the 15,000 individuals and families in the Ottawa and Renfrew area.
“The Walk for Memories event is now held in over 60 communities across the province, and Collins Barrow Ottawa was instrumental in launching the region’s first walk. We are pleased to have our staff and alumni involved in our fundraising efforts again this year and challenge the community to get active by walking or donating to join the fight against dementia,” says Principal, Tracey Pagé, Collins Barrow Ottawa.
