Collins Barrow partner joins expert panel on construction industry insolvencies

Nov 24, 2014

Bryan Tannenbaum, a partner and practice leader of Collins Barrow Toronto’s Restructuring and Recovery group, will be among the panel of insolvency experts and lawyers discussing “Construction Industry Insolvencies and the Impact of Royal Bank of Canada v. Atlas Block Co.” at an Ontario Bar Association luncheon on Nov. 26, 2014.

The panel will be addressing the ramifications of that decision on trust claims as they relate to Ontario’s Construction Lien Act.

“When two such highly specialized and complex practice areas as insolvency and construction law converge, it’s essential that we work closely with our legal counterparts to properly address the many challenges these cases pose,” says Mr. Tannenbaum.
