Collins Barrow Nova Scotia welcomes new partner

Todd King Nov 1, 2018

Dartmouth, NS – Collins Barrow Nova Scotia Inc. is pleased to announce the firm’s newest partner, Dwayne MacKay, a veteran tax expert bringing more than a decade of experience with global accounting firms. One of Atlantic Canada’s most respected tax advisors, MacKay specializes in private company tax planning, estate planning and succession planning. He also has a wealth of experience in international tax, a growing service line for Collins Barrow Nova Scotia.

MacKay joins one of Atlantic Canada’s largest and deepest tax teams — including fellow tax partners David Cameron, Todd King, Greg Leslie and Darlene Shaw. The move also affords him the opportunity to collaborate with several longtime colleagues, with whom he previously worked at a large, integrated firm, and strengthen the collective value provided to clients at Collins Barrow.

“The addition of MacKay is a pivotal moment for our team,” said King, leader of CB Nova Scotia’s tax practice. “We have been looking for an opportunity to add even more depth to the Canadian side of our practice, and MacKay is one of the most distinguished Canadian tax practitioners in the region. He also brings to the firm significant experience with international tax, an area where our clients always look to us for guidance.”

Collins Barrow Nova Scotia is an independent member of Collins Barrow National Cooperative Inc., with a team of more than 90 professionals serving the Atlantic Canadian market out of the Dartmouth office.
