Kapuskasing, ON – On Friday, October 21, the Kapuskasing & District Chamber of Commerce held its 26th annual Business Awards Gala. During the event, this organization presented its Business of the Year award to Collins Barrow Gagné Gagnon Bisson Hébert, and four of the firm’s five Kapuskasing partners were on hand to accept this prestigious honour.
The process of selecting the winner began at the end of August with a call for nominations from the general public. A total of 85 nominations were collected, representing 45 businesses in the community. The final determinations were then made by a panel of 13 judges comprised of respectable business people unrelated to the Chamber Board of Directors, representing both the private and public sector.
“We are very proud of this honour, particularly in light of the exhaustive criteria used to select the winners,” said CB Gagné Gagnon Bisson Hébert managing partner Eric Gagnon, who gave a speech at the award ceremony. “The criteria we were evaluated on include customer service, community involvement, retention and succession planning.”
