Dec 21, 2020

Ottawa, ON – With much respect and gratitude, Baker Tilly Ottawa announces the retirement of long-serving managing partner Kenneth Tammadge.

Tammadge joined the firm more than 40 years ago and has been its managing partner since 2012. A recognized and highly respected senior accounting and business leader, he led a tax practice that empowered clients with transactions, wealth, succession planning and more.

Tammadge leaves a storied legacy of professional leadership and a rich history of uplifting the Ottawa community. His commitment to service excellence and community service earned him Fellowship in 2013, the highest distinction awarded by the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. And in 2019, he was inducted into the Order of Ottawa.

A lauded speaker and author, Tammadge shared his expertise both locally and abroad, and was involved in marketing and business development activities over the years. His leadership at Baker Tilly extended beyond the Ottawa firm, as he served on Baker Tilly Canada’s Management Committee and spearheaded many of the network’s firm recruitment initiatives.

“It has been an honour and a privilege to work alongside so many talented people during my career – colleagues and clients alike. I have certainly seen a lot of change over the years and been inspired by those able to adapt and engineer new value,” says Tammadge. “I am proud of the culture we have at Baker Tilly; keeping the needs of our clients, people and our communities at the heart of what we do every day.”
