
Dartmouth, NS – Baker Tilly Nova Scotia is pleased to welcome Sean Walker, who joins the Baker Tilly Advantage team as partner. Walker brings a wealth of experience to the firm, having spent the past 15 years in senior financial roles with not-for-profit and private companies. His most recent experience includes working as an outsourced CFO-for-hire for several small- to medium-sized businesses.
Walker joins the BT Advantage group, which provides cloud-based accounting solutions that enable small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to not only streamline their operations, but enhance their competitive advantage. As part of the team, he will be able to apply his considerable experience in corporate finance, transaction services, business advisory services, data solution services, operational performance reviews and process improvement.

Born and raised in Dartmouth, Walker spent two years at Elon University in North Carolina, studying accounting before graduating from Saint Mary’s University in 1997. He obtained his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2003, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation in 2005 and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2015.
