Baker Tilly Windsor to share financial planning insight with legal community
Windsor, ON – Baker Tilly Windsor is pleased to join The Advocates’ Society for a networking and learning event on Oct. 23. Hosted by The Young Advocates’ Standing Committee, the evening’s programming focuses on financial planning and business management for young advocates and will include two speakers from the firm.
“Many people think financial planning is for the wealthy or those about to retire,” says presenter Brian Cowell, senior manager at Baker Tilly Windsor. “The truth is the actions young professionals take in the present can have a significant impact on their future. Learning business management and financial planning skills early on can help set the stage for long-term success.”
BT Windsor partner Denise Hrastovec will also be sharing her expertise, leveraging her four decades of experience in the industry as a co-presenter of “Balancing Professional Careers and Life.”
“I’ve always believed in the importance of finding harmony in your professional and personal life, and this message is more relevant than ever before in today’s ‘always-on’ work culture,” she explains. “Our firm is proud to play our part in supporting these kinds of events, sharing knowledge to address contemporary challenges and advance discussion on key issues facing our local business community.”
For more than 50 years, The Advocates’ Society has provided advocates of all levels of experience with opportunities for mentoring, networking and collegiality, including special opportunities for young advocates. To learn more, click here.
