Windsor, ON – Baker Tilly Windsor is proud to support Stigma Enigma, an annual campaign that raises awareness and funds for Maryvale, a leading youth mental health treatment centre in Windsor, ON where adolescents facing serious emotional, psychological and mental challenges can receive expert therapy and assistance.
This year’s Stigma Enigma event will feature speaker and former NHL player Jordin Tootoo, and all funds raised will directly benefit Maryvale’s counselling and guidance programs.
“As an employer and member of our Windsor-Essex community, Baker Tilly is deeply committed to the health and well-being of young people, particularly as they begin to enter the workforce,” says partner and long-standing member of Maryvale’s board Denise Hrastovec. “Mental health is not only chronically underfunded, but the unspoken taboo around these illnesses makes it difficult for victims and families to find and access the help they need. This event will help break down those barriers, encourage open conversation and forge strong, supportive relationships within our community.”
