Yorkton, SK – Baker Tilly SK is pleased to announce Darcy Spilchen has been appointed to the position of CEO, as his predecessor Rick Kozachenko transitions into retirement. This changeover has been carefully implemented to maximize continuity and minimize disruption.
“As CEO, Rick made a major impact at Baker Tilly SK, overseeing and implementing our strategies and goals during his tenure,” explains Spilchen. “His broad knowledge and expertise on the various issues small businesses and farm operations face has been of significant value to our clients. Spilchen’s new role is the culmination of his three-decade association with Baker Tilly SK, going back to his work as a co-op student at the firm in 1990. In his role as a general practitioner, he served as a local government audit team leader, a tax and business advisor to private companies and a tax and financial planning advisor for individuals.
“Having worked with Darcy for many years, I am extremely confident he has the skill, passion and expertise to lead our firm into the future,” says Kozachenko. “His longstanding familiarity and compatibility with our team puts him an ideal position to thrive in this new role.”
