
Dartmouth, NS – Baker Tilly Nova Scotia is thrilled to announce Kate Newcom, the firm’s director of human resources, has been recognized with the Nova Scotia CPHR 2019 Award of Excellence.
The HR Award of Excellence recognizes exemplary HR professionals who demonstrate leadership in their profession and organization through strong practices and innovative programs leading to the achievement of business results.

As part of Baker Tilly Nova Scotia’s professional management team, Newcom leads the human resources and people performance departments, growing the firm’s staff from 60 to more than 100 talented professionals. She is responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of a number of human resources directives along with supporting the professional development of her organization.
