Baker Tilly launches annual federal budget coverage

Apr 16, 2021

Waterloo, ON – After an unprecedented year, Baker Tilly Canada is eager to see what Budget 2021 has in store for the Canadian business community. When the budget is released, Baker Tilly will once again provide expert analysis, deciphering the impacts for clients – no matter what they may be. In the leadup to the release, the all-Canadian audit, tax and advisory network invites Canadians to join “BT Budget Watch” to receive valuable content.

Continuing its long-standing tradition of providing commentary and analysis on tax and financial measures, Baker Tilly Canada plans to offer a robust suite of dynamic content once the government tables Budget 2021. Tax experts will be available to speak with media at this time and in advance of the budget.

“Canadian businesses have faced unprecedented challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic,” says John Oakey, Baker Tilly Canada’s national director of Tax Services. “While the federal government has implemented a series of relief measures over the past year, how this will impact the new federal budget and subsequent policy changes remains to be seen.

“In keeping with tradition and our commitment to our local markets nationwide, we look forward to critically analyzing Budget 2021, with the aim of advancing discussion of any tax policies and providing clarity on the impacts – for clients and the Canadian business community.”

Members of the media who are interested in pre-budget commentary or to arrange an interview to discuss Budget 2021 once it has been released are invited to contact Baker Tilly Canada’s media representative.
