Waterloo, ON – Several Baker Tilly Canada firms across the country once again participated in the annual Movember initiative, raising more than $22,000 for men’s health issues.
Movember is the leading charity bringing attention to issues affecting men’s health. Mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer affect millions, but are rarely talked about. Dedicated professionals from BT Canada firms aimed to help bring attention to these issues, including teams from Baker Tilly CK, Baker Tilly GWD, Baker Tilly KDN, Baker Tilly Rockies, Baker Tilly SNT and Baker Tilly WM.
“Movember is an inspirational movement that brings people together to help live happier, healthier and longer lives,” explains Nikolas Kuttis, staff accountant and Movember Team Captain from Baker Tilly KDN. “We’re grateful for all the heartfelt support we’ve received and to our Mo Brothers and Mo Sisters, who have come together to do their part for the important men in our lives. This is one of the many things that unites our BT firms across the country – our collective desire to make an impact for our clients and communities.”
