E-mail items of interest to your clients
Develop an e-mail distribution list for articles or items of interest to your clients and prospects - and keep it up to date. Sending interesting items will show them that you are thinking about them, and e-mails make distribution an easy task. Items for distribution might include: an article in which you're mentioned, an article published by you, a transcript from a seminar, survey results by you or others, articles on business trends affecting your target audience, and articles of special personal interest to your contact. Be sure to attach a personal note.

Has your firm recently been mentioned prominently in a news story? Has one of your experts published an article or an op-ed on a hot topic? Get permission from the media outlet to post a link from your firm's Web site to the piece on the publication's site. The media company likely will appreciate the added exposure, and visitors to your Web site will be impressed with your firm's reach.
