Important notice: fraudulent emails and invoices impersonating Baker Tilly
We have been made aware of fraudulent emails circulating in Canada that falsely use the Baker Tilly name, including references to “Baker Tilly Canada”. These emails often include fake invoices and payment requests and are sent from various unaffiliated email domains.
These emails and any associated invoices are NOT sent by Baker Tilly Canada.
What you should do
If you receive an email or invoice that appears to impersonate Baker Tilly:
Do not make any payments and do not click on links or open attachments.
Do not reply to the email or use any contact details provided in the message.
Report the email through your local email or IT security system (e.g. phishing or spam reporting).
If you already have an established relationship with a Baker Tilly member firm and are unsure about the legitimacy of a message, verify it using previously known and trusted contact details (such as earlier correspondence or official website contact information).
Delete the email after reporting it, in line with your organisation’s security procedures.

Baker Tilly Canada is monitoring this situation and will take appropriate measures where possible to address fraudulent use of our name.
