Biography

Winnie is a Senior Manager in the Cross-border/US Tax group. Winnie started at Baker Tilly in September 2013 as a senior accountant in Audit & Assurance group and joined tax group in September 2014. She graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance in 2007. She started her career as a CA student in Yarmouth in 2009 and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2013. After joining Baker Tilly, she completed the In-Depth Tax course in 2017 and obtained her US Certified Public Accountant designation in 2019. Winnie has passion for providing Canadian and US taxes services for US persons who live and carry on business in Canada, and for clients with cross-border tax issues involving immigration to and emigration from Canada.

Her off-the-job interests include travelling and camping with her family, painting, and reading mystery and detective stories.
