Biography
Whitey joined Baker Tilly in 2026. He has more than a decade of experience providing Canadian and U.S. tax and advisory services to domestic and international clients across the world, both personal and corporate. He has a particular interest and expertise in working with Non-Residents of Canada who operate within Canada individually or through a corporation, hold real estate in Canada, as well as actors and others in media, film, television and digital production.
His extensive and varied professional background includes banking and financial services management, property management, political campaigning and research. There is no question too strange for him to be able to find an answer to it.
Whitey is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He achieved his CPA designation in British Columbia and has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent. In addition to completing an Accounting Program at Camosun College, he has also studied in Theatre Arts and completed course work in the MST program at Golden Gate University. He pursues any opportunity for continuing education with rigor to learn new skills and keep old skills fresh.
He lives in Victoria with his family on their mini-farm and enjoys constant renovation of their 1911-character house, traveling, reading, and operating the family car service.
