Biography

Tonia graduated from Dalhousie University and began her career in public practice in 2000. She subsequently earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2003. Although her focus has been on the audits of large corporate and not-for-profit organizations, she also has extensive experience in small and medium owner-managed private business. Over her 23-year career she has enjoyed being able to provide services to a wide range of industry including automotive, law firms, medical and dental professionals, insurance, manufacturing, retail, not-for profit, seafood industry and municipalities.

Tonia is passionate about supporting local business, especially Nova Scotia’s very active craft brewing industry. Her favorite pastimes include spending time with family and being told she looks too young to be a grandmother.
