Stuart Ladd CPA

Biography

As the former vice president of finance at a major international retail chain, Stuart brings an insider’s insights to his role as consultant to owner‑managed businesses. Stuart helps clients achieve their financing objectives through venture capital, public offerings and long‑term debt transactions. He has also guided many companies through complex and successful re‑structuring processes.

Stuart obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bishop’s University and obtained his CPA designation in 1980. He worked for two prominent accounting firms before joining Baker Tilly Montréal’s predecessor firm as a partner in 1990. Prior to his tenure at the firm, Stuart also played an important role in the development of an audit manual. He currently assists with the in‑house training and professional development at the firm.
