Biography

Stephen is a Principal with Baker Tilly Victoria based out of the Sidney office. He started his accounting career with the firm in 2014, obtained his designation in 2017 and became a Principal in 2021.

Stephen has completed CPA Canada’s comprehensive 3 year In Depth Tax course and specializes in comprehensive tax planning for complex personal and corporate tax situations, with an emphasis on considerations for small business owners and estate planning. He is also the firm’s Indirect Tax and Cryptocurrency specialist.

Prior to accounting Stephen had a diversity of professional and educational experience including two degrees in Biology. This varied history and a personable nature allow him to relate and understand all manner of client situations and business requirements.
