Sonia Medvescek CPA

Biography

Sonia plays several important roles at Baker Tilly Montréal, including helping to develop the firm’s internal audit procedures. She is also a member of the firm’s training team, assisting with firm‑wide professional development and bringing new team members up to speed with Baker Tilly Montréal’s standards and procedures.

Sonia graduated from McGill University and obtained her CPA designation in 1992, then joined a mid‑sized firm in the city. She joined Baker Tilly Montréal’s predecessor firm in 1999 as a manager specializing in audit and assurance advisory services, and was promoted to partner in 2002.
