Biography

Sarah Netley holds a master’s degree in both accounting and taxation from the University of Waterloo. As a partner in at Baker Tilly KDN (BT KDN), she helps clients with all aspects of income tax, specializing in corporate reorganizations, estate, and succession planning. Sarah has contributed to various publications such as the Canadian Tax Focus and Taxes and Wealth Management. Sarah is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, completing the requirements in 2018 while earning the highest mark in the program’s Trust and Estate Planning course.

Prior to joining BT KDN in 2013, Sarah was a tax manager with a large national accounting firm in Toronto in the mergers and acquisition group. She made partner with BT KDN in 2020.

Sarah enjoys sharing her expertise through contribution to community groups and professional associations. She is currently a member of Canadian Tax Foundation’s program committee for the Ontario conference and has been involved in local non-profit organizations. She also co-hosts BT KDN's podcast, From the Source with Frankie & Sarah.
