Biography

With over a decade of experience in both public and private practice, Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge in audit, accounting, finance, and leadership roles, specializing in not-for-profit organization, Broader Public Sector entities, and private companies.

Nathan leverages his past experience as the Director of Finance and Asset Management at a Broader Public Sector charitable organization to provide excellent client service. In this role, he oversaw the financial services functions in financial reporting, compliance, and financial planning and analysis, as well as procurement and asset management within the agency. The role also provided him with the opportunity to work directly with provincial and federal ministry funders. Nathan understands the operational, financial, and compliance challenges of his clients, and uses his unique background to provide relevant and practical insights.

Nathan is a graduate of Nipissing University, earning his honours degree in 2015. He went on to obtain his CPA, CA designation in 2018. In 2023, Nathan completed the Public Sector Executive Leadership Institute program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Nathan is actively involved in his community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Literacy West Nipissing. He has also contributed his expertise through various committee roles across North Bay and surrounding areas.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys quality time with friends and family, sharing home-cooked meals, and perfecting his barbeque skills. He also embraces Northern Ontario’s natural beauty through camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
