Biography

Muhammad joined Baker Tilly in 2024, bringing valuable experience from both public accounting and the public sector. He specializes in supporting owner-managed businesses, with a focus on tax compliance, corporate restructuring, and navigating complex CRA audits. Known for his detail-oriented approach and practical guidance, Muhammad works closely with clients to help them achieve clarity, confidence, and long-term success.

He earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Ontario Tech University in 2016 and achieved his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2021. Muhammad further strengthened his technical expertise by completing CPA Canada’s prestigious In-Depth Tax Program in 2022, equipping him with advanced knowledge to support clients through sophisticated tax planning and advisory needs.

As a proud Durham resident, Muhammad lives and works in the same community as many of his clients. He takes pride in building long-term relationships grounded in trust, personalized service, and a strong understanding of the local business landscape. Beyond his professional role, Muhammad values balance and wellbeing, enjoying time outdoors and staying active through hiking, kayaking, and playing volleyball.
