Martin Craig

Biography

Martin is a Senior Manager in the Advisory team, specializing in one-off finance projects. His focus areas include helping clients secure government grants, assessing whether projects are feasible, and valuing businesses. Since Martin joined in 2020, our Advisory team has achieved a 100% success rate with government grant applications.

Originally from New Zealand, Martin worked in London, UK for five years before relocating to Sudbury. While abroad, Martin led several finance projects to restructure businesses and implement new finance systems. Before this, Martin was a senior manager for a large public company in the telecommunications industry.

In New Zealand, Martin worked on the sale and purchase of businesses and a $150m project to improve economic outcomes for the Indigenous. His role included financial modelling, developing KPIs, setting up reporting processes, and reporting to government ministries.

Professional, community and social affiliations

Martin is a CA with Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. He is also Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Sudbury. Outside of work, Martin enjoys mountain biking, travelling, camping, and fishing.
