Kenton Strachan CPA

Biography

As Chief Operating Officer of Baker Tilly Nova Scotia Inc., Kenton’s primary focus is providing strategic direction, operational oversight and day-to day guidance for the Finance, Technology, Marketing, Human Resources and Office Administration teams.

Originally from Nassau, the Bahamas, Kenton attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Upon graduating, Kenton began his career in public practice in the Bahamas with a large national firm, earning his US CPA designation in 2005 and becoming a member of CPA Canada in 2018.

Kenton has extensive experience providing senior leadership and guidance in multi-stakeholder environments, specifically in the areas of operational excellence and financial performance and across multiple industries, including professional services, wealth management, private banking, hospitality and more.
