Jon McCourt

Biography

Jon has been a senior manager in the R&D and Government Incentives practice at Baker Tilly Windsor since April 2023. He has spent the last 10 years working as a professional consultant preparing SR&ED tax claims and securing government grants for small- and medium‑sized enterprises operating in Ontario.

Over the years, Jon has worked with a wide range of clients across many industries, with a specialization in the automotive, precision metal working and manufacturing sectors. He provides leadership and guidance to his clients in the full range of incentive tax services, including opportunity assessments, claim preparation/review, system installation/training and audit support.

In 2010, Jon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, Economics) degree from the University of Windsor. He is also a CQ certified mould maker, and he has 15 years of industry experience in the tool and mould sector.
